We started Day 4 by visiting the Westminster area of London. We got a view of Parliament from the street and then took a ride on the London Eye, a tourist attraction from the 2000 celebration. We then hopped on a tour boat, down the Thames, that took us to Greenwich, where we spent the rest of the day touring the Cutty Sark and the Greenwich area.On the Cutty Sark we met one of the “Crew” who regaled us with great stories of the ship. It included the story of Captain Wallace, his suicide and how a Bruce followed him as captain. The Bruce’s have been taking over for Wallace’s ever since William Wallace. It was dubbed the “Voyage from Hell”. It was scheduled to take 230 days and ended up taking over 600 days. |

The Cutty Sark has been raised and supported in dry dock. They have a great display and cafe under the Cutty Sark. |
